Sustainable Smart Cities: Enabling Technologies, Energy Trends and Potential Applications
Priyanka Mishra, Ghanshyam Singh
In summary, the book provides a unified view of the state-of-the-art sustainable smart city, which should be accessible to the readers with basic knowledge of emerging technology and their role to accomplish sustainable smart city. The readers may find the extensive references provided in each chapter to be highly valuable and beneficial. The authors have performed a good job by providing a concise summary of all the chapters at the preface of the book. I would strongly recommend the book to senior undergraduate/graduate students, researchers, and engineers working or intending to work in the area of sustainable smart city and emerging technologies required to establish sustainable smart city. Although numerous journal/conference publications, tutorials, and books on the sustainable smart city have been published in the last few years, the vast majority of them focus on the various components of the smart city. However, this book distinguishes itself from the existing prosperous literature on sustainable smart city and its enabling technologies.
